Driving in for a cruise from Seattle and not sure where to park? We have all your options below.
But if you’re sailing from Seattle, honestly the best option is to have someone drop you off at the port. It’s faster, cheaper, and more convenient than having to park. We know, however, that’s not an option for everyone and thousands of people drive to the port every week to set sail.

That means you’ll need a place to park your car. Unfortunately, with the cruise ports located near downtown Seattle where space is limited, there aren’t many parking options for you to choose from. (Seattle park & cruise hotels do offer more choices.)
The lack of competition combined with expensive real estate mean that parking prices are some of the highest in the country. For example, you can spend more than $30 per day for official Seattle cruise parking. That’s much more expensive than popular ports like Miami, Port Canaveral, Galveston, and others.
Still, you do have some options to choose from including traditional lots located near the port, Seattle hotels with free parking, and airport parking.
Below, we cover all your options of where to park for a Seattle cruise.

Official Parking for Port of Seattle (Pier 91)

The Port of Seattle works with third-party companies to provide parking for cruises from Pier 66 and Pier 91.
Official Port of Seattle Parking (Republic Parking & Platinum Parking)
Each pier offers parking right near the terminal, but the lots are operated by outside vendors.
Platinum Parking offers service at Pier 91. It has a large lot across the Magnolia Bridge from where the ships dock, with a shuttle provided to the pier.
Parking rates vary based on length of trip and whether you select economy, standard, or premium parking. (The difference between the groups is the distance from the parking shuttle stop.)
The rates for a 7-day cruise are as listed. There are longer lengths available if needed.
- Economy: $187 (~$27 per day)
- Standard: $220 (~$31 per day)
- Premium: $329 (~$47 per day)
- RV/Oversized: $329 (~$47 per day)
If you are taking a longer cruise, the rates for additional days are significantly less than the initial 7-day rates.
- Cost: $187-$329 for a 7-day cruise
- Address: 2001 West Garfield St. Seattle, WA 98119

Official Parking for Port of Seattle (Pier 66)
Pier 66 is located in the heart of downtown, right near the famous Pike Place Market.
With this location, you book the Bell Street Garage (sometimes known as Cruise Port Garage 28) through SpotHero.com.
Parking costs around $33 per day at Pier 66 for regular cars & trucks under 6’6″. To our knowledge, oversize parking is not available. That comes to a total of $233 for a 7-day cruise.
Given the size of the garage, we recommend securing a reservation in advance. A skybridge connects the Pier 66 garage to the cruise terminal and you simply walk to the terminal.
- Cost: $33 per day ($233 for a 7-day cruise)
- Address: 9 Wall Street, Seattle WA, 98121

Independent Parking Lots
Seattle CruisePark
This lot is located just north of Pier 91, very close to the official port parking. Despite its location near this cruise terminal, it serves as parking for both Pier 91 and Pier 66. It’s located about two miles from Pier 66.
Parking costs about $28 per day (priced as $199 for a 7-day cruise), although prices do vary depending on the length of cruise. It is convenient in that there is one price no matter which cruise port you will sail from. There is also free shuttle that will drop you and your luggage off at the port of your choice.
Limited oversize vehicle parking is available priced at $243 for up to 30 feet (one week) and $286 for up to 40 feet.
There are also two options to park, with a more convenient VIP valet service at no additional charge. With this service you have to leave your keys, but on the plus side you are closer to the shuttle pick-up point.
- Cost: ~$28 per day ($199 for a 7-day cruise)
- Address: 1601 West Armory Way, Seattle, WA 98119

Seattle Airport Parking Lots
If you’re like us, you might be surprised at the expense of parking your car while you cruise, especially when airport parking is considerably cheaper. We’ve found several airport lots that charge as little as $10-15 per day near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
It’s tempting to consider these lots as a way to save some cash, but keep in mind the distance between the airport and the cruise port. Any money saved on parking will likely be eaten up by the cost of commuting to your ship. For reference, a tax ride from the airport to the cruise port runs about $40-$55 each way.
By the time you add this amount to the less expensive airport parking lots, it’s a wash with the added hassle of having to commute all the way to the airport to get your car.
Hotels with Cruise Parking
If you are staying in the area, contact your hotel to see if they will allow you to park your car for the length of your cruise. Sometimes you can stay only a single night and be allowed to park for free — or at a discount — for the length of your trip. Fortunately, there are a number of hotels with parking packages, located both near the airport and near the cruise ports.
We have a full list of Seattle hotels with cruise parking here, as well as a suggestion below:
Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle
Located in the middle of everything, this hotel is just minutes from the ports. The Four Points offers parking to guests a “Cruise Package” with the option to leave your car as you cruise. In our search, the rate for this package was about $70 over the base rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there anywhere to park for free for my cruise?
Seattle is one of the hottest real estate markets and the ports also sit in a highly developed area. That means available space for parking is at a premium. The only way we know to find free parking is to stay at a hotel that will allow you to leave your car during your cruise. There are a number of hotels with cruise parking, but keep in mind that many will at least charge a small fee to park during your stay. You’ll also usually have to arrange transportation to the cruise port.
Are there parking discounts for disabled or veteran cruise passengers?
Ports in Florida and Texas often offer discounts to disabled passengers or veterans. Unfortunately, we have not seen this sort of discount offered in Seattle. It may come in the future, but isn’t available now that we know about.
Is my car going to be secure?
While there’s always risk in leaving your car unattended anywhere, the lots mentioned above have secured parking with security and/or fencing. We have not heard of passengers having issues with leaving their during their trips.

Where is the free cell phone lot for picking up passengers from pier 91?
What about parking an RV. We plan to drive across the country and need to find a place to park our pickup and trailer.
Yes, that’s available at Pier 91:
“RV/Oversize Vehicle parking is available: $50 per day for anything under 40 ft, $62 per day for all vehicle combinations over 40ft (RV parking MUST be reserved and prepaid on-line to guarantee a space)”
That sounds like one heck of a trip!
