12 Easy Los Angeles & Long Beach Hotels with Cruise Parking

It’s one of the little-known secrets about saving money on a cruise… and it can save you hundreds.

The market for hotels is competitive, especially in a tourist destination like Los Angeles. That means hotels will often offer perks in order to attract more guests. If you are looking to stay near the Los Angeles and Long Beach cruise ports, one of those perks is cruise parking packages.

View of the Long Beach cruise port

Parking can be a pretty hefty price on top of your cruise fare. Fares run $19 a day at the Port of Los Angeles and $23 at the Port of Long Beach. That means for a week of parking, you can expect to pay at least $130.

But if you are staying in the area, then you can find a hotel that offers a cruise parking package. These packages include parking in your hotel fare, typically for an amount that’s a little more than the regular room rate, but less than parking at the cruise port. In addition, they will include transport back and forth from your ship.

To be sure, if you don’t plan on staying at a hotel the night before, then doing it just for the parking isn’t worth the added expense. But if you are going to stay somewhere, we suggesting finding a place with cruise parking to save a few extra bucks.

Click each hotel name below to read recent reviews from real travelers. For parking packages you may have to book through the hotel website or call the hotel directly.

These hotels are close to the Port of Los Angeles (World Cruise Center) in San Pedro. If you are sailing from the Port of Long Beach, see the list of hotels later in this article.

DoubleTree by Hilton San Pedro — Port of LA
DoubleTree is always known for higher-end accommodations. This hotel meets that bar. Highly rated, the hotel sits right on a marina at the Port of Los Angeles, so you can watch the ships go in an out. The “Park and Go” package includes parking for the duration of cruise and shuttle service to the Port of Los Angeles. All told, the rate was only about $15 higher than the base rate, saving you a bundle on parking at the port.

Best Western Plus San Pedro

Here you can park your car for free if you are a guest. If not staying at the hotel, there is a $10 per day fee. There is also a shuttle to the Los Angeles cruise terminal (but not Long Beach). We’d suggest calling ahead of your stay and asking about reserving a parking space to make sure there is room.

Vagabond Inn
This hotel sits just minutes from the cruise port and offers much cheaper parking than what it costs at the port. A phone call to the hotel told us they have parking for $10 per day while you cruise. Simply let them know at check-in that you’d like to park there. As well, they offer a shuttle to the World Cruise Center. If sailing from Long Beach, you’ll need to find your own transportation with Uber/Lyft.

Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel
Another Best Western near the port, this hotel is less than 10 minutes away. They also offer free cruise parking with a night’s stay (up to seven nights of parking). 1. You call these companies and they pull the bail and switch routine. There should be a law against it but in these United States nothing is right. You call the hotels and they bump it up the price.

  2. Also, add “Hotel Current” to this list. Free cruise parking, free cruise shuttle, free breakfast… $169 ($20 more than their regular rate of $149). Its the only decently rated park/cruise package I can find at a reasonable price.

  3. Hello, can you please add The Cove Hotel? Their Park and Cruise Long Beach hotel package includes a one-night stay in a standard guestroom parking for up to 7 days, and transportation to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal starting at $179.

  4. After doing research for all hotels listed above, I found the best price Hotel Current “Snooze & Cruise package” $169.00 1 night stay with 7 Free days for parking. They also provide shuttle back and forth from hotel to the port. Please add this hotel to you list. Thanks

  5. Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel, has free parking but no shuttle to Pier. They also have Military Room Rates, Active & Veterans. We have stayed there before and are book for April.
