Using Uber & Lyft to the Mobile Cruise Port

These days, the monopoly that taxi cabs have on getting visitors around a city is quickly coming to an end.

Over the past few years, your only option other than a cab was public transportation.

Frankly, both means of transportation have their drawbacks. Public transport can be slow, inefficient, and crowded. Taxis can be expensive, and not everyone has had the best experience. Many times they won’t want to give rides out of town, either — a major issue if you are coming from somewhere outside the city limits.

Those are several reasons that rideshare companies — Uber & Lyft — have been all the rage. The services offer highly efficient transport for relatively cheap prices. Drivers use their own cars, which are usually newer and nicer than your typical cab. And since there are so many drivers, you never have to wait long for a ride and they are fairly cheap.

If you are flying intoMobile or simply want a ride to the port so that you don’t have to park for $18 per day, then you can use ridesharing to get you there.
