At Cruzely, we like to stay on top of annual Black Friday cruise sales. Usually these deals revolve around booking upcoming cruises.
But if you’ve already booked a trip, that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck. One cruise line in particular — Royal Caribbean — is offering up some huge discounts as part of a Black Friday offer. If you have an upcoming cruise with the line (especially one that goes to CocoCay), then you’ll want to know about this offer.
Dubbed the “Black Friday Early Access” offer, this deal says it provides up to 50% off of shore excursions. That can lead to some dramatic savings.
Now, the cruise line is known for “dynamic pricing” meaning that prices for practically everything on and off the ship varies depending on your specific cruise. That means your prices may differ from what’s shown here.
But on an upcoming cruise we have booked, the cost of admission to Thrill Waterpark was a hefty $122 per person. Now, it’s priced at just $64 — a savings of $58 per person.

Want something more exclusive? The high-end Coco Beach Club had a cost of $284 per person just days ago. With this sale, it’s now $149 per person, or a savings of $135.
Savings apply to all sorts of excursions and things to do, including other ports. However, we found the biggest deals for activities in CocoCay. This includes everything from cabanas to jet skis.
Now for the fine print. The terms of this deal spell out that the offer is good from November 9 through November 24. Discounts apply to cruises departing November 13, 2023 through December 31, 2024. In other words, it looks like you have another couple of weeks to take advantage, but we’d always suggest booking sooner rather than later.
If you’ve already booked an activity at a higher price, Royal Caribbean typically allows you to cancel that reservation for a refund and then re-book at the lower price to save.
Bottom line, this is one of the better offers we’ve seen from a cruise line. If you have a Royal Caribbean cruise booked, you definitely want to take advantage.
I never saw that discount, we’re going feb 16th- feb 19th and I checked every day and the only discount was 15%
