Royal Caribbean Lifts the Curtain on its Newest Beach Club in Nassau (Must-See)

It’s been over a year since Royal Caribbean first announced its newest destination in The Bahamas — Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. But until now, only a few details were actually shared.

Royal Caribbean has finally released full details of what’s going to be included at Paradise Island Beach Club — including a two-story pool bar. Rendering courtesy of Royal Caribbean.

One thing we knew was that the new beach club would sit on a narrow sliver of land on Paradise Island. This area is right next to the cruise port in Nassau, so close that you could walk there if it weren’t across the channel from the port.

And while we knew that it would feature plenty of beach and fun, more details than that weren’t readily available.

That is, until now. Royal Caribbean has just announced a ton of new details about the destination, including full renderings and explaining just exactly what will be included in the area.

So what can passengers expect?

First, Royal Caribbean is calling it the “Ultimate Beach Day” and there will be three main zones across the 17 acre development. This includes:

Family Beach — Families are a major part of Royal Caribbean’s passenger base, and they will have their own area at the club. Family Beach will include pools designed to cater to kids, beach games, and even a new Ultimate Family Cabana that includes two stories, its own waterslide and even a frozen drink machine.

Chill Beach — Similar to CocoCay, there will be a Chill Beach. As the name implies, this is the spot to relax poolside or beachside in a more relaxing atmosphere with fewer kids and loud music.

Party Cove — If you want to party in The Bahamas, then Party Cove and The Floating Flamingo — a two-story pool bar with DJ — is where you want to be. Royal Caribbean says it will feature the world’s largest swim-up bar.

All told, there will be three pools, seven beach bars and and 41 cabanas across the destination.

Truth is, we can tell you about these places, but that’s nothing compared to what they will actually look like. The cruise company released a video showing everything that passengers can expect. Take a look:

Now passengers should know that unlike CocoCay, this won’t be free or included with your cruise. Details on pricing haven’t been released, but the company has said visitors will purchase a day pass for access. Amenities like cabanas will also cost extra. Royal Caribbean says that passes and cabanas will go on sail in spring 2025, ahead of the December 2025 opening.

This is just one part of the company’s ambitious plans in building its own destinations. On the heels of massive success of Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean is in the process of building not just Paradise Island Beach Club, but also Royal Beach Club Cozumel. It’s also announced Perfect Day Mexico (in Costa Maya) that’s set to open in 2027.
