The cruise line, which is well known for its popular CocoCay destination in The Bahamas, announced a brand-new destination in Cozumel that it’s calling the Royal Beach Club.

The new Royal Beach Club in Mexico will sit on the western coast of Cozumel and promises to offer many of the same features that draw so many to CocoCay.

According to the cruise line:

“Everyone can make memories with a combination of experiences that span from kicking back to adventuring across swim-up bars, dedicated pools for relaxation enthusiasts and families, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more.”

Additionally, Royal Caribbean says there will be “a variety of dining spots like a restaurant, bar and lounge with views – and flavors – for days and a street market as well as hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes.”

Not a ton of details were released with this initial announcement, but the cruise line did share several renderings to give an idea of what will be included.

From there, we see a massive splashpad for kids along a large stretch of white-sand beach. Another shot shows a couple relaxing in an infinity edge pool overlooking the ocean. And a third includes a shot of a cabana, a beach bar with swings, and lounge chairs with umbrellas.

Take a look:

As we mentioned, there aren’t a ton of details that have been released just yet. For instance, no word on if there will be a charge for visiting this venue. CocoCay is free to visit but has upcharges for amenities like cabanas and the island’s waterpark. Cozumel, however, is home to a number of beach clubs that charge admission fees.

What we do know is that the club is slated to open in 2026. This will be the Royal Beach Club. Another version is slated to open in Nassau in 2025.
