Full List: Fort Lauderdale Park & Cruise Hotels Near the Port

When it comes to cruising, the cost of parking often catches people by surprise. For instance, the cost of parking at the Port Everglades cruise port in Fort Lauderdale runs $15 per day. On a 7-day trip, you’re spending over $100 on parking alone before you even step onto the ship.

But here’s a money-saving tip: If you are staying in the area the night before your cruise, many hotels have special park and cruise deals. You stay with them for one night and they will let you park your car for the length of your cruise.

This parking is much cheaper than parking at the port, plus many hotels will provide you with a shuttle to the cruise port. Often the cost of parking runs just $5-10 per day, instead of the $15 charged at the port.

Now, if you weren’t already planning to stay near the port the night before your trip, then what you save on parking is not worth the extra expense of the hotel room. However, we actually recommend most people come early and stay in the port area the night before.

If you are flying into Fort Lauderdale, you definitely want to book your flight for the night before the cruise. These days, there are simply too many things that can delay your flight, from bad weather to airline computer systems failing. With so many delays, having the extra time will give you peace of mind.

If you are driving into Fort Lauderdale, then it’s not as important to stay in the area the night before. Still, doing so can make cruise day much more relaxing instead of rushing to get to the Port Everglades terminal.

In either case, there’s no doubt that staying in a Fort Lauderdale hotel with a park and cruise package can save you some serious cash.

That’s why we called dozens of hotels located near the port to ask about their parking packages. We have all the details below. Click the hotel name to read reviews from other travelers on TripAdvisor.com. Rates are for a recent search for a Saturday night stay and subject to change. For parking packages you may have to book through the hotel website, which is linked on TripAdvisor.

Second, it offers a free shuttle to the cruise port. Parking cost $10 per day, which isn’t the best deal but still more affordable than parking at the cruise terminal. One thing we like is that the hotel is set off the main road and surrounded by trees to make it a bit more secluded and quiet.

For the hotels with parking packages, the Crowne Plaza offers a location that’s tough to beat. It’s a straight shot to the port, and near a number of shopping areas. 1. Two years ago is was free to park at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise. My husband and I just called the hotel front desk this evening and they are currently not offering any parking until February-ish of 2018, when their parking garage is predicted to be complete. Parking will then be $10/day.

  2. Some of the links are directing correctly. Such as the Holiday Inn Express cruise port location. It seems to be going to tripadvisor Hampton Inn instead. FYI

  3. Hello,
Are there any hotels in Fort Lauderdale with extended parking that provide shuttles to Miami international airport? … We are flying to Europe from MIA to cruise transatlantic into Fort Lauderdale.
    Thanks

    • Not that we know of. If traveling to the Miami airport, your best bet is to use Uber or Lyft. As for parking, there are a number of hotels that have parking for you but you’ll need to arrange your transportation to the airport.
