Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2019 Cruise Deals

Thinking of a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal that’s something better than new electronics? These days everyone gets in on the shopping hype after Thanksgiving, including the cruise lines. So while everyone else is waiting out in the cold for the stores to open up, you can be saving a bundle on a trip to the warm Caribbean from the comfort of your home.

To be completely honest, the Black Friday cruise deals can be hit or miss. Some cruise lines pull out all the stops and offer some incredible deals that make it worth booking immediately. Others offer little discounts or sales that are similar to what’s regularly offered.

Below, we’ve rounded up all the deals we could find for the major cruise lines. As more sales roll-out, we will continue to update this page, so check back often.

Norwegian Cruise Lines (Updated 2019 Offer)

Each year we think Norwegian offers one of the top Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals we’ve found. This year looks to be no different.

Right now the line has a “Black Friday Sale” that runs from November 25-29, 2019.

The offer includes a huge discount of 30% off all guests on all cruises and up to five different offers depending on which level cabin you book. You can have your choice of:

  1. Free Unlimited Open Bar
  2. Free Specialty Dining
  3. Free Shore Excursion Credit
  4. Free Wi-Fi
  5. Free 3rd & 4th Guest Free

Now for the fine print — the offer is eligible across any cabin, but the higher level you select, the more free options you can choose. Studio and inside rooms can select one free offer. Oceanview rooms get two free perks. Balcony, mini-suites and Concierge, suites, and The Haven cabins can select all five offers.

And on that drink package you’ll still have to pay gratuity of 20% on the value of the drink package, which comes out to $19.80 per person, per day (that’s still all you can drink for about $20 per person). You’ll also have to pay 20% gratuity on the dining package.

Carnival Cruise Lines (Updated 2019 Offer)

Carnival has already announced a “Cyber Blowout” program that features a solid sale with some enticing offers. This deal includes all the following:

  • Up to 30% off of cruises
  • 2-for-1 deposits and up to $50 in onboard credit
  • $5 room upgrades
  • Free price protection

This special deal is on sailing from February 2020 and later. It runs through December 1, 2019.

One thing to note — while this is a Black Friday sale, this offer was actually available earlier in Thanksgiving week.

Royal Caribbean (Updated 2019 Offer)

Royal Caribbean is offering a deal that’s nearly the exact same as last year’s sale.

This year the cruise line offers 60% off of a second guest and up to $300 in instant savings plus kids sail free.

How much you save depends on the cruise you book. On sailings of five nights or less, you could save $50 for interior and oceanview cabins, $75 for balconies and $125 for suites. On sailings six nights or longer, you could save $75 savings for interior and oceanview, $200 for balconies and $300 for suites.

This offer is pretty sweet, as we found some trips starting for as little as $199 per person for a three-night cruise to CocoCay. The sale runs until December 2.

MSC Cruises (Updated 2019 Offer)

MSC may not be as well-known as some of it’s larger rivals, but it is among the fastest-growing cruise lines in the world.

One reason for that growth is that the line offers some amazing deals. Case in point: its 2019 Black Friday offer.

This year’s sale offers three big freebies:

  • Free drinks (the “Easy” drink package)
  • Free wi-fi (standard Internet package)
  • Free gratuities for first and second passengers

All told, the cruise line says that this can save you up to $764 per stateroom on a 7-night Caribbean cruise.

The sale begins on November 26th and runs through December 4th. You can find more details and book here.

Princess Cruises (Updated 2019 Offer)

Princess offers one of the more attractive Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals we’ve found. It offers two different options — Sail Soon or Sail Later.

Under the “Sail Soon” deal, you can save up to 40% off your cruise and get free wi-fi during your trip. With this sail we found some 7-night Caribbean cruises that offered fares of just $549 per person. That’s a good deal for any line, but especially a luxury line like Princess.

With the “Sail Later” sale, you can get even more. Under this sale you get:

  • Free wi-fi
  • Up to $800 in onboard spending (depending on trip, cabin, and number of guests)
  • Free room location upgrade
  • Free wine and specialty dining
  • Up to $200 off airfare

This sale is similar to last year’s offer, but the free wi-fi appears to be a new perk.

Celebrity Cruises (Updated 2019 Offer)

This year Celebrity is offering a Black Friday sale that consists of $25 deposits, 1 free perk, and $100 to spend onboard the ship. As well, third and fourth passengers in a cabin are 50% off.

Frankly, $25 deposits are the lowest we have ever seen. Normally $50 is considered a low deposit amount.

As well, the $100 onboard credit amount per person is generous because it is the same amount whether you book an inside cabin or one of the ship’s higher end rooms. It does look like the onboard credit doesn’t apply if you select the lowest-priced “guaranteed” level of cabins.

As for the free perks, this is on top of any other perks that might be included in your regular fare (some rooms already get perks) and you have your choice of:

  • Free beverage package
  • Unlimited wi-fi
  • Prepaid tips
  • $150 per person to spend on the ship
