Virgin Voyages Unveils a 2026 “Annual Pass” Complete With a Stay at Branson’s Private Island

Just over a month ago, Virgin Voyages announced an offer that we had never heard of in cruising. Its new annual pass offers the ability for passengers to sail any Virgin cruise anywhere in the world whenever they want for an entire year. So you can sail from Miami, hop a plane, and then sail from Europe on a whim.

Virgin Voyages is renewing its offer for an Annual Pass on its ships in 2026… with some major new changes.

At a price starting at $120,000 (you do have to pay taxes/fees on each cruise) for two people, the pass came out to about $1,000 a week per person to be able to essentially live on a Virgin Voyages ship.

Now Virgin Voyages is already unveiling a revamped 2026 Annual Pass. This time the price has jumped, but it also includes some extra perks that make the deal even more interesting.

The Basic Detail (And New Price Tag) of the 2026 Annual Pass

According to the cruise line, “after debuting its 2025 Annual Pass on Travel Tuesday, the award-winning, exclusively adult brand decided to unveil its 2026 iteration early, giving travelers ample time to plan.”

With the announcement of next year’s pass, there’s also a price increase. The price has has risen from a starting cost of $120,000 in 2025 to a much steeper $199,000 for the entire year. For that amount, you still get to sail with two people in a Sea Terrace cabin (balcony room) across any Virgin Voyages ship on any sailing. Note that there is a “primary” passenger that needs to stay the same across the cruises, but the second passenger can change with each trip.

This includes Virgin’s newest ship — Brilliant Lady — and the new Alaskan cruises the ship will sail. Perks onboard include gratuities already included, premium wi-fi, laundry service, priority boarding, $100 bar credit for each sailing and more.

But then the 2026 Annual Pass goes farther than this year’s edition, adding in a number of new features.

A Week on Branson’s Private Island + So Much More

Perhaps the most eye-catching perk anyone purchasing the 2026 Annual Pass will receive is a one-week stay at Sir Richard Branson’s private island, Necker Island. This 74-acre property in the British Virgin Islands is one of the most idyllic spots in the Caribbean, and one of the most exclusive.

If you want to book a room on the island normally, your dates are extremely limited with many times not available. As well, the starting price we saw was for around $6,200 per night for the least expensive room. That means a one-week stay with the Annual Pass is worth roughly $45,000 by our calculations.

In addition, your stay would come with business-class airfare from anywhere in the continental U.S. and ferry transfers included.

You also get a number of other perks included, and while they aren’t a stay on Necker Island, they are nothing to sneeze at.

Passengers will get one of Virgin Voyages’ hammocks to have at home. They will also get an upgrade to a suite for their birthday, and a $10,000 shopping spree at the shops onboard. And 10 times a year they can also get a cabana when visiting the cruise line’s Beach Club in Bimini.

It’s obvious that this is much more than just a pass aboard the ship when you want. It’s aiming to focus on luxury for that that choose to buy.

A Select Few Will Have the Experience of a Lifetime

Now let’s be honest, this offer isn’t for everyone. There’s only a few that are fortunate enough to be able to sail on a whim anywhere in the world and also have the bank account to drop $200,000 at one time (payment is due in full at the time of booking.)

But if you do have the flexibility and the bank account, this would be one hell of a way to spend an entire year in some of the most beautiful parts of the planet.

The pass is available with a starting date of January 1, February 1, March 1, or April 1 and goes for one year from that date.
