15+ Orlando Hotels With Airport and Cruise Shuttles to Port Canaveral

If you are flying into Orlando for a cruise from Port Canaveral, then you are going to need to figure out how to get to your ship. The port is about 45 minutes away from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is the closest major airport to the ships.

Cruise ship docked at Port Canaveral

The good news is that as one of the busiest ports in America, there are a number of options to get to the cruise terminal. From Uber to shuttles, you can easily make your way to the Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area.

But perhaps no way of getting to the port is as convenient as an Orlando hotel near the airport with a cruise shuttle. As a way of winning your business, many spots near the airport offer a free shuttle to their hotel after you arrive from your flight. And then after your stay, they will provide a shuttle ride to Port Canaveral (for a fee).

This way you don’t have to worry how you are going to get to the hotel from the airport or to the cruise ship on the day you sail. (A number of hotels in Port Canaveral also offer cruise shuttles if you prefer to stay closer to your ship.)

How Airport and Cruise Shuttles Work for Orlando Hotels

Airport Shuttles: Most of the hotels below work in a similar way. They offer free shuttles between the airport and the hotel that run either 24 hours per day, or at all times except for a few hours in the middle of the night.

You’ll want to get all your luggage and only then call the hotel. They will direct you on where to go to catch your ride. Since all the hotels below are right near the Orlando airport, the ride should only take 5-10 minutes.

Port Canaveral Shuttles: The hotels below offer one of two options for the shuttle ride. First, some offer packages that you will need to book through the hotel website or with a phone call. These packages include your room and the ride to/from the port in one price.

The other option is that other hotels on the list have a third-party shuttle provider that they work with or recommend. You can book the hotel and contact the shuttle company to book your ride.

Either way, expect the cost to run about $40-50 per person, round trip.
